Pam Golden founded GLA Communications in 1986 during the first wave of the home technology boom. Since then, her expertise has helped fuel many of the most successful communications campaigns in the field. With Pam’s help, home satellite TV became the most quickly adopted consumer electronics product in industry history. Just a few years later she helped launch the DVD and high definition television achieving prominent national media coverage. In addition to managing the PR agency, Pam provides high-level strategic and tactical counsel to GLA’s clients, bringing the benefit of more than 25 years of experience in creating and executing campaigns that work.

Her extensive network of key media relationships including producers at the TV networks and reporters at national print and online outlets, keen understanding of the inner-workings of the media, and affinity for strategic communications in the technology and energy sectors have brought consistent,winning results for clients on Good Morning America, the Today Show, CBS This Morning, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg TV, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Associated Press, Reuters and Bloomberg BusinessWeek to name a few.

Prior to forming the PR agency, Pam was an account supervisor at Robert E. Griffin Inc, New York and Frank Barth Inc., New York. Before entering the public relations field, she was an editor in trade publishing for the technology industries and she started her career as a newspaper reporter at a daily newspaper in Western Pennsylvania.

Pam earned a degree in Journalism and Communications from Point Park University, Pittsburgh, PA. She is a member of Public Relations Society of America and is active in Counselor’s Academy. Pam also is a member of the Consumer Electronics Association’s Communication Committee helping guide the industry’s PR programs.
